Keep in mind we continuously check channels in YPP to make sure they continue to meet our policies and guidelines over time. If you want to upload your own videos, comment on videos, or create playlists, you can create a YouTube Channel at any time. If a channel is inactive and has not uploaded or posted posts for 6 months or more, YouTube reserves the right to remove its monetization.
To add your content to YouTube, try converting your audio file to a video file by adding an image. Here is a list of supported file formats for content that can be uploaded to YouTube. There’s a limit to how many videos a channel can upload each day across desktop, mobile, and YouTube API. Keep in mind that Copyright check results aren’t final. You can also publish your video while checks are running and fix issues later.
After choosing how you want to monetize, you’ll be able to manage ad preferences, turn on monetization for your uploads, and more. Once you’re in YPP, get started in YouTube Studio with Watch Page Ads, Shorts Feed Ads, Memberships, Supers, Shopping, and more. If this isn’t your first application to be rejected, or you’ve previously re-applied, you can try again after a 90-day period. We’ll get back to you with a decision once your channel is reviewed (typically in about 1 month). Once done, you’ll see In Progress in the Get Reviewed step, which means we have your application!

If you’d like us to notify you when you’re eligible, select Get notified in the Earn area of YouTube Studio. Upload videos in YouTube Studio
If you’ve signed in to any of these products before, you already have a Google Account. If you’re having trouble signing in to YouTube with your Google Account, you can get help signing in. If you need to add an account, use the instructions above and then use the instructions here to switch between accounts. You can easily switch between signed in accounts on your smart TV or game console. Any actions taken while signed out in guest mode won’t affect your account’s recommendations.
How to Sign In to YouTube on Your TV
We use the phone number to send you a verification code. Using phone numbers to verify identity is one way to protect our community and combat abuse. To access advanced features, you must first complete phone verification. We’ll send a verification code by text or voice call to that phone number. To verify your channel, you’ll be asked to enter a phone number.
How we review your application
In the “Sound effects” tab, use the filters and search bar to find sound effects for your videos. In the Music tab, use the filters and search bar to find tracks for your videos. In the Audio Library in YouTube Studio, you can find royalty-free production music and sound effects to use in your videos. In this case, you are not yet eligible to receive a share of the revenue.
